If you're still on the lookout for some Christmas goodies, then there are a bounty of beauty themed potential presents hitting the shops at the moment. Whether you're shopping for yourself, or looking for gifts for other people, if you're a true make up maven at heart then this time of the year is definitely one of the best to snap up some seriously lust worthy purchases. It's also a great opportunity to save plenty of pennies too, with lots of gift sets offering amazing value for money, particularly if you're in the market to try something new, or are looking for some unique goodies to tuck under the tree:

Regular readers will probably be well aware of the fact that I'm a huge fan of the beauty boxes which Selfridges produce, and for the festive season they've come up trumps once again, collaborating with a whole host of beauty brands and Alphabet Bags to offer some amazing treats which are ideal for indulging yourself over the festive season. This particular set is an ideal treat if you or someone you know is looking for a serious pamper- and at this time of the year, a bit of TLC is definitely in order, don't you think?
This year, I've developed a real fondness for REN, so their gift sets are a real festive favourite which I've been keeping my eyes peeled for since the end of the autumn. This quartet for sensitive skin is ideal for remedying some of the toll which winter temperatures can have on your skin, and again is the perfect present if you've got someone in mind who deserves a bit of a treat this Christmas. With skincare in mind, I have to confess that I've been extremely tempted by a new cleansing prospect in the shape of the Foreo Luna Mini- something of a departure from my trusty Clarisonic, but a product which I've been hearing brilliant things about. If you're looking to start the new year feeling fresh faced, then I reckon this is definitely one special gift to ask Father Christmas for.
As well as an abundance of socks, at this time of the year I also seem to get inundated with books as I slowly resolve to read more as the new year rolls around. Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes is a book which has been a firm favourite across lots of recommendations this festive season, so I don't doubt is one which I'll be adding to my reading list before too long. For a bold burst of colour to combat the winter blues, you can't really do much better than the Nars Digital World Lip Pencil Coffret- a lovely follow up to a similar selection from their collaboration with Guy Bourdin last winter. This little set is excellent value for money too, so I have a feeling that it won't be sticking around the shops for long! For festive fingers, you can't beat a touch of sparkle and this Yves Saint Laurent polish is a real golden wonder.
Perfume is another lovely gift to give (and receive!), and over recent months I've found myself branching out and trying some newer scents. This Happ & Stahns Eau De Parfum from Anthropologie not only smells amazing, but would also add some serious decorative value to any dressing table. If you're heading into serious treat territory, then look no further than Bobbi Brown's amazing Deluxe Palette from John Lewis, offering a bounty of lip and eye shades in a seriously covetable case- definitely one worth saving the pennies for if you're shopping for someone special. Charlotte Tilbury also has an abundance of pretty palettes which would make perfect pressies, not least this Rebel Without A Cause duo from her Filmstars on the Go collection- a real year round favourite.
With a little bit of luxury in mind, you can always rely on Laura Mercier to deliver the goods- much like Santa himself! This festive season, one of their most sought after products is this travel brush collection, which incorporates eight staple tools from their best-selling range. A real winter wonder for someone who is seriously into the artistry of beauty. Finally, no Christmas would be complete without a burst of festive red- and this shade from Chanel's festive collection is a real winner, guaranteed to last long after the turkey, turkey sandwiches, turkey curry, coronation turkey and turkey casserole are long gone...!
